We seek an experienced engineering leader to join our growing team in Mexico City. You will be responsible for managing, hiring, and leading a talented team of 30+ engineers who collaborate closely with our US office, contributing to the success of our projects and the company's overall growth.
Note: This is a remote eligible position based in Mexico. However, you may be required to go into our Mexico City office location occasionally during team and company events as needed.
How you'll contribute:
Talent Development
- Identify, hire, and nurture talent within the team, facilitating growth and skill development
- Implement strategies for recruitment and retention to build a high-performing and diverse engineering team
Collaboration with Blend USA
- Foster effective communication and collaboration between the engineering team in Mexico City and the Blend US engineering, product, and design teams
- Work closely with counterparts in the US to align on project goals, timelines, and technical strategies
Project Management
- Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success, from ideation to implementation
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Proven experience (10+ years) in a leadership role managing engineering teams
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of successful project delivery
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across borders and cultures
