Stoke is building the world’s most efficient fully and rapidly reusable rocket designed to fly daily that will radically increase access to space and open up the space economy to safeguard our precious home, Earth.  

Description


Data is the key to empowering our engineering teams to build and launch the world’s first 100% reusable rocket. We need to provide high frequency time series data in a resilient and expedient manner so that engineers and technicians have reliable info to make decisions and analysis in real time. We’re looking for a Software Engineer that has UI development expertise and experience with high volume data plotting and processing. You will be responsible for developing new data plotting and processing tools as part of our Data Platform as well as contributing to the development of our data pipelines, from the edge at vehicle software to ingress into our cloud infrastructure pipelines, analysis, and archiving.

Responsibilities


  • Develop and utilize data visualization tools to create reusable plotting and visualizations of time series data.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines (streaming and batch) and infrastructure on our cloud platform
  • Work with large-scale time series datasets, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement data models and schemas to support analytical and operational needs.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of data infrastructure and pipelines.

Qualifications 


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field / experience
  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Strong proficiency with front end development frameworks (e.g. ReactJS)
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Plotly, Tableau).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data processing frameworks
  • Experience with time series data, including storage, retrieval, and analysis.
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data lake architectures.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation 


Target Levels:

  • Level 3 Range: $147,00 - $220,500
  • Level 4 Range: $183,700 - $275,600
