Your impact
The Sales Development Representative will have a direct impact on Correlation One’s mission by developing relationships with senior diversity, talent, and data leaders to create pathways for employment for DS4A graduates. This person will refine and develop systematic processes for prospecting, maintaining engagement, and developing relationships with key stakeholders in data-driven Enterprises. A successful Sales Development Representative will work closely with Correlation One’s sales and marketing leadership to ensure Correlation One is at the forefront of diverse data hiring now and in the future.
A day in the life
- Partner with C1’s Sales DevelopmentDirector to build and manage high-quality prospect and opportunity pipelines.
- Meet quarterly goals for opportunity generation and advancement
- Maintain excellent records tracking activity and key account events in Salesforce
- Practice strategy, messaging (written+verbal), and qualification skills in-line with top-line organizational goals
- Work with C1’s Marketing Team to maintain engagement with key prospects and capitalize on engagement metrics
- Develop a deeper understanding of the needs/wants/desires of leaders in Talent, Diversity, and Data
- Completing both outbound prospecting and handling inbound leads
Your expertise
- 1-2 years of experience as a Sales Development Representative (current or former), prospecting into companies of 1000+ employees
- Experience prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities
- Exceptional written communication skills including copywriting for cold emails, engagement messages, and B2B-focused blog content
- Strong verbal communication skills with a goal to improve on a daily basis
- Comfortable with scheduling tools and managing shared calendars in a virtual-first sales environment

- This role is remote and can be located anywhere in the US. We are headquartered in New York City and have office space in Midtown Manhattan.

The compensation range for this position is specific to location and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. These factors include (but are not limited to) location, experience, education and skill sets. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $55,000 - 65,000 base + commissions. Please note that the shared range is specific to the United States and reflects base salary only; it does not reflect bonus, equity or benefits.
