As a software engineer intern at Alluxio you will participate in the development of the state-of-the-art Tachyon project, which is the centerpiece of the company's business. Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability and desire to work in a fast paced, collaborative and iterative programming environment
Preferred Qualifications
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of distributed storage systems (development knowledge is a plus)
- Good understanding of (one or more): system design, distributed systems, storage systems, database systems, networking, security.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability and desire to work in a fast paced, collaborative and iterative programming environment
- Contributed or contributing to Alluxio
