What We're Looking For
The Fair Lending Manager for Planning, Reporting, and Special Projects, in conjunction with individuals and teams within fair lending, Compliance, and the business, performs a wide range of duties including the following.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and carry out special projects, reporting, and ad hoc requests, in collaboration with the Head of Fair Lending, Compliance, Analytics, Data, Data Science, and other teams within CRB.
- Provide leadership and day-to-day management to the fair lending team across multiple workstreams.
- Analyze current operational processes, identify improvements that will result in greater efficiencies, and implement improved processes.
- Synthesize relevant information related to the Bank’s Fair Lending Program to provide recommendations, support decision-making, and drive strategy.
- Create processes for developing, managing, and submitting regular internal and external reporting.
- Oversee the implementation, management, and maintenance of program documentation and repositories.
- When needed, provide ad hoc support to Fair Lending team leadership and across fair lending team workstreams.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in project management, internal operational, or change management, for a compliance or fair lending team preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience using project, process management, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and report creation tools.
- Experience in the financial service or banking sectors, preferably in bank compliance, lending products, or credit risk management.
- Understanding of U.S. fair lending and fair banking-related laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA/Reg B), Unfair, Deceptive and Abusive Act and Practices (UDAAP), and the Fair Housing Act (FHA).
Additional Requirements:
- Critical thinking and the ability to "connect the dots"; to synthesize information from various sources and multiple data points across multiple business units.

- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Experience working with stakeholders to build relationships and ensure operations are effectively carried out.
