About The Role
The Deal Desk Analyst will proactively work to accelerate deal closure. The purpose of this role is to ensure that deals adhere to corporate strategies and remain compliant while partnering with the Revenue Team to create a positive impact. This role is part of the Finance team and will work closely with Revenue Operations to streamline consistent deal structure. G2 is headquartered in Chicago.
Responsibilities:
- Deal Closure Acceleration:
- Proactively work to accelerate deal closure by partnering with the Revenue Team and ensuring adherence to corporate strategies.
- Deal Structure and Compliance:
- Collaborate with Revenue Operations to review and approve standard and non-standard revenue deals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Revenue Team, proposing alternative options and value propositions to drive optimal deal structures.
- Validate that deal structure aligns to CPQ requirements and ensure Contract & Subscription is correct for reporting purposes.
- Process Improvement:
- Improve processes to enhance business visibility, speed, and consistency.
- Monitor the workflow of revenue deals to ensure timely approvals.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Build strong working relationships with internal partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Revenue, Finance, and Revenue Operations.
- Strategic Thinking:
- Understand systemic processes and limitations to effectively partner with revenue in the rollout of pricing & packaging changes.
- Comfortably navigate the nuances of each customer's needs, contributing to flexible deal strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:

- Working knowledge of Salesforce CPQ.
- 2+ years of experience in revenue operations, contracts, finance, strategy, or related fields.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and problem solve in a fast paced environment
- Ability to evaluate binding contracts.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong listening, analytic and organizational skills
- Proven track record of building strong working relationships with internal partners
- Ability to engage across multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
