Guild is looking for a Director, Marketing Performance Operations to help optimize the marketing organization’s impact and efficiency. This is a critical, high-visibility role tasked with leading cross-functional teams to execute against our strategic plans to deliver outstanding marketing execution and continually improve our processes, go-to-market infrastructure, and measurement. Reporting to the Sr. Director of GTM Ops, you will be a critical member of the GTM team and will be leading a team comprised of technology and system management, website operations, and marketing analytics.
This role will be further refined and expanded upon as the growth of the company and team continues to scale.
What You'll Do
- Architect Guild’s marketing technology stack. Guild runs dozens of martech applications, from complex marketing automation platforms like Marketo/Iterable to simple point solutions like Sendoso. Own and manage the selection, implementation, integration, administration, and budgeting of these systems
- Own reporting and analytics throughout the sales funnels, across demand generation, digital marketing, and ABM. This includes developing and maintaining global performance dashboards, marketing metrics, campaign performance reports, etc.
- Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and conversion rates across Marketing and Revenue funnels, and identify areas that need attention or opportunities for growth
- Advise and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure proper alignment, create data-driven strategies, and roll out marketing best practices and engagement tactics
- In collaboration with the GTM Ops team, your team will be responsible for powering the infrastructure of the guild.com corporate website, including ownership of the CMS, CDP, and personalization tools
- Create a Center of Excellence (COE), through strong written and video-based documentation, to enhance onboarding, training, and execution of the marketing team
- Assess, develop, and implement data governance policies and manage marketing data to ensure accuracy and completeness. Proactively address potential issues with deliverability, automation, or data quality
- Build out an end-to-end multi-touch attribution model to provide in-depth insights to each touchpoint along the GTM journey.
- Optimize lead scoring, lead flow, and distribution methodology to ensure quality leads are passed to our Sales teams for qualification and increase efficiencies and conversion rates
- Manage and lead the marketing operations team by establishing priorities, allocating resources, and serving as the subject matter expert on marketing operations and marketing automation guidelines
You are a strong fit for this role if you have:
- 7+ years experience in B2B/B2C business functions, preferably GTM-facing, with 3+ years directly leading a Marketing Operations team
- Expert-level experience and fluency in the terminology of CRMs (Salesforce), MAPs (Marketo/Iterable), CMSs, CDPs, and more. This will be a hands-on role
- Strong analytical with proven experience interpreting sophisticated data sets and translating insights into actionable reports
- Proven track record of strong communication and documentation skills to streamline operations with quantifiable results
- Deep understanding of lead management and customer lifecycle models
- Strong project management with demonstrated experience running multiple programs, priorities, and deadlines, while developing and implementing process improvements and documentation
