About the Role
As an AI Tutor - Nutrition, you will be instrumental in developing the next generation of AI-powered nutrition tools. Your expertise in nutritional science will be crucial for educating and evaluating AI models, ensuring they deliver accurate and insightful dietary guidance. You'll play a key role in training AI to understand the complexities of human nutrition, from the biochemical level to the impact of dietary choices on overall health and well-being.
Your Day to Day
- Teaching: Utilizing your deep understanding of nutrition science, you'll guide the learning process of our AI models. This involves crafting diverse training datasets and employing innovative teaching methodologies to help the AI grasp core nutritional concepts.
- Evaluating: You'll be responsible for critically assessing the AI model's comprehension of nutrition. This includes testing its ability to generate accurate meal plans tailored to specific dietary needs, provide evidence-based advice on nutrient interactions, and identify potential nutritional deficiencies or risks.
- Red Teaming: By taking on the role of a user with complex dietary needs or restrictions, you will proactively identify any potential biases or limitations in the AI's recommendations, ensuring the safety and efficacy of its guidance.
About You
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or MD in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or a closely related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of macronutrients, micronutrients, and their roles in human health.
- Strong understanding of various dietary guidelines and their practical applications for diverse populations.
- Familiarity with common dietary restrictions, allergies, and disease-specific nutritional needs.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to explain complex nutritional information clearly and concisely.
Pay Range (rate per hour)$15—$60 USD
