The Role
Middesk is seeking a Head of Growth Marketing to join our team. You will be responsible for driving our marketing-led growth strategies by working across channels to increase our customer base, revenue, and market share. You will work closely with both prospective and existing customers across financial services industries including fintechs, banks, lenders, and payments companies to build a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs. You'll leverage your expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, account-based marketing, and analytics to develop and optimize a growth strategy and marketing programs that result in predictable pipeline growth.Your success will be measured by your ability to drive revenue impact through innovative marketing strategies in collaboration with sales, account management, and product teams.
This includes creating compelling content, managing multi-channel campaigns, aligning marketing efforts with product launches, and analyzing performance to continuously improve our marketing efforts.We’re a lean team, and this role will have an immediate impact on the growth trajectory for Middesk in 2024 and beyond. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will work closely with other senior leaders across the go-to-market organization to develop, iterate, and execute an aligned revenue strategy.
What You'll Do:
Develop and execute comprehensive growth marketing strategies to grow pipeline and revenue within our target account lists and priority segments.
Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, account-based marketing, content marketing, email marketing, social media, and SEO/SEM.
Test and launch continuous enhancements to our website that improve prospect engagement and conversion.
Develop a pipeline of creative growth experiments within the product and across marketing channels. Run experiments to validate hypotheses by testing and optimizing segments, creative, and messaging.
Collaborate with product, sales, and other key stakeholders to understand market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape, informing marketing strategies and tactics.
Work closely with revenue operations to align sales and marketing goals and implement your growth marketing strategy across the business.
Collaborate with the sales team on campaigns and strategies that increase conversion rates throughout the sales cycle.
Establish and maintain KPIs, metrics, and reporting mechanisms to measure campaign performance, identify areas for optimization, and drive informed decision-making.
Manage a growth marketing budget, allocating resources effectively and tracking ROI to ensure efficient use of marketing investments.
Build and manage a high-performing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to attract and retain team members.
Be a champion for driving innovation and creativity across all of Middesk’s marketing initiatives, leveraging storytelling and customer-centric approaches to differentiate our products in the market.
What We’re Looking For:
8+ years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, or related roles, with a proven track record of driving measurable results in a B2B SaaS environment.
Deep understanding of B2B marketing principles, channels, and best practices, with a focus on customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value optimization.
Excellent analytical abilities that you rely on to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and translate into actionable marketing strategies and tactics.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, present ideas and recommendations to executive leadership, and inspire others to action.
Passion for continuous learning: regularly stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and best practices in marketing with a track record of consistently experimenting with new approaches.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing marketing teams.
Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms; experience with Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Salesforce.
Experience building and scaling growth engines within the financial services industry, and/or a growth mindset with strong curiosity and excitement for becoming an expert in a new industry.
