We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deal Desk Specialist to join our team. As a trusted advisor and partner to the Sales team, you will provide critical guidance and support throughout the deal process, helping drive closure and ensuring a positive customer experience. Your role will involve accelerating and supporting the Quote to Cash process, enforcing governance policies, mitigating revenue risks, and enabling sales representatives to focus on selling activities.
Responsibilities
- Advise on deal structures, pricing, buying programs, discounts, and alternative contract options.
- Manage quotes and pricing approvals.
- Ensure commercial operation readiness in terms of SKU, buying program, and price list creation to enable direct and indirect transactions.
- Execute the quote-to-cash process, including order acceptance, managing product/service fulfillment and billing process, tracking and following up on outstanding collections, and reinforcing required actions.
- Handle escalations and exceptions in the Quote to Cash process.
- Collaborate with Legal to interpret contractual language and ensure compliance with policies for sales contracts.
- Drive initiatives to simplify quote-to-cash processes and improve productivity via automation.
- Deliver sales enablement and training on quote-to-cash best practices.
- Create and refresh ACV booking guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a deal desk, sales operations, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, pricing strategies, and contract management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Sales, Legal, and Finance.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Knowledge of database and cloud computing.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive process improvements and adapt to changing business needs.
- Fluent Chinese speaker.
$86,000 - $125,000 a year
Salary Range:
The annual anticipated base salary range for U.S. candidates for this role is USD $86k to $125k. The actual individual base pay will depend on various factors such as the complexity and responsibility of the role, work locations, job levels, and relevant experience and skills. This role is also eligible to participate in PingCAP's Bonus and Equity Plan, as well as our Sales Compensation Plan, if it is a sales role. To comply with local legislation and provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base salary ranges on all US job postings regardless of desired hiring location.
