VP, Insights and Analytics

Role Overview
As the VP of Insights and Analytics, you'll leverage our extensive data on nutrition and metabolic health to drive transformative insights and capabilities. Leading a team of analysts, data scientists, and actuaries, you'll shape our data strategy, enhance decision-making, and propel Virta's mission forward. Virta has more experience and data on using nutrition to improve metabolic health and reverse diabetes and obesity than any company or health system. The Insights & Analytics team is accountable for both pioneering new classes of data that power our business, and ensuring that data is powerful, clear, correct and easy to use throughout the company.
The team collaborates closely with the engineering, product development, commercial, and clinical teams to transform data into actionable insights that propel Virta's mission forward.This role is crucial in shaping our data-driven decision making processes and driving impactful insights that advance our mission.

Present data-driven insights to enhance customer outcomes.
Must-Haves
Experience: Proven leadership (7+ years) in analytics and data science within high-growth startups (200 to 2,000 employees), with a background in health tech.
Skills: Expertise in data analysis, machine learning, statistical modeling, SQL, relational databases, and BI tools (Looker, Tableau), AI based solutions. Strong project management in agile methodologies.
