About the Job:
LaunchDarkly seeks an
Incentive
Compensation Analyst for our Revenue Operations team. You will be responsible for analyzing and administering employee compensation plans to ensure timely and accurate delivery of commission payments. This position requires a strong analytical mind, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of compensation practices and principles.Your seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams is crucial as you steer LaunchDarkly's compensation structure. The ideal candidate for this position is a detail oriented self-starter who can adapt quickly to shifting priorities, and is comfortable working with leaders and stakeholders at all levels of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Administration of monthly and quarterly variable compensation processing, validation, and analysis for all segments of the Revenue team.
- Track and administer incentive spiffs, adjustments, and exceptions.
- Partner with Finance in ensuring timely commission payout submissions according to the local payroll schedules.
- Address and resolve any commission or compensation plan related inquiries.
- Assist in compensation plan creation and distribution.
- Timely and accurate preparation of monthly accruals and reconciliations for commissions accounting.
- Maintain and support the build and implementation of compensation plans in the sales commission tool.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in compensation analysis or related field
- Experience with compensation tools and software (QuotaPath, Captivate IQ, Xactly)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel/G-Sheets and G-Slides
- Proficiency in SFDC
- A high degree of flexibility, be extremely organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize a variety of tasks and meet deadlines.
Pay:
Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones* for Level P3:
- Zone 1: San Francisco/Bay Area or New York City Metropolitan Area: $114,000 - $134,000**
- Zone 2: Boston, DC, Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Seattle: $103,000 - $121,000**
- Zone 3: All other US locations: $97,000 - $114,000**

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.*Within the United States, our geographic pay zones are defined by counties surrounding major metropolitan areas.**Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits in addition to salary.
