You will be joining a diverse team with a dynamic culture where team success is as important as celebrating individual contributions.As an IT Support Specialist, you will be working with the IT team supporting our users, systems, and office infrastructure.  You will also provide operational support for monitoring and remediating critical infrastructure and services.  This role will be reporting to our Senior Staff TechOps Engineer of Technical Operations.  This role requires you to be onsite five days a week, in Redwood City, CA.You will...

  • Support employee asset tasks throughout the asset lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, upgrades, and decommissioning
  • Provide assistance to employees with setting up their equipment, including monitors and accessories
  • Ensure conference rooms’ video conferencing systems are operational and resolve issues as they arise
  • Support company meetings, including setup and during the meeting
  • Participate as a first responder in IT ticket system, triage or escalate high-priority tickets with senior IT staff as appropriate
  • Coordinate warranty repairs with vendors on behalf of employees
  • Create and improve “how to” articles in effort to reduce repetitive tickets
  • Support Senior members of IT team on projects (e.g network exansions, system updates and upgrades)

You have...

  • 3-5 years of experience supporting IT operations in an environment of 50 or more users or relevant experience
  • Experience using and troubleshooting Mac and Windows laptops
  • Experience supporting Zoom meetings and supported hardware (e.g., Neat.io systems, sennheiser Mics, Logitech cameras, or similar equipment)
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • The ability to work and partner effectively with clients, management, and staff members in a fast-paced environment
  • The desire to take on new challenges and responsibilities
