About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Integration Consultant. You will be responsible for helping us achieve the full potential of the integrations we build and working alongside a global software development group, directly with our customers and our key technical partners within the recruiting, HR and payroll space. To succeed in this position, it is important to have a proven track record of integrations across multiple complex systems at scale and to provide guidance for future integrations and implementations. This role is essential to defining how we enable custom integrations thus enhancing our efficiency during and post-implementation and in turn, further elevating the customer experience.
What you'll be doing:
- Own the implementation of 3rd party integrations to improve products and services with a focus on custom HRIS and CRM integrations, testing support and coaching customers on best practices
- Own the inbound integration pipeline and work with solution consultants for scoping technical integrations and Customer Success Team for current customer integration requests
- Perform complex data migrations and advanced imports/exports between multiple systems (ATS, CRM, HRIS, etc.)
- Configure new and reused integrations using middleware tools such as Prismatic, Workato or Zapier
- Create Integration Summaries and Documentation for customers and development team
- Work closely with developers & engineers to drive the product integration roadmap related to new integrations and product workflows
- Define strategies for how to rollout new integrations for new and existing customers
- Design interim integration solutions and document best practices
- Handle customer communications and setting expectations to drive maximum adoption
- Own the A to Z of new integrations through tracking and monitoring, testing and troubleshooting
- Manage and prioritize concurrent integrations
- Lead requirements gathering and documentation sign-off for integration projects
- Consistently and effectively communicate with all the relevant stakeholders
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, including their technical architecture, APIs, and integration capabilities
- Consult customers on building integrations in customer-led integrations utilizing our API documentation
What you should bring:
- 7+ years of experience in sales engineering, solution consulting, technical implementation or integration roles (in the HR technology industry)
- Strong understanding and experience in APIs and webhook integrations (ideally in an event-driven architecture)
- Advanced understanding and ability to explain system-to-system integrations
- Ability to manage time and work effectively within a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects under tight deadlines
- Experience working with both software developers and directly with customers, translating technical deliverables and project status to non-technical users
- Excellent Project Management skills and ability to pay attention to the fine details
Nice to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Workato, Zapier, Prismatic or similar integration middleware experience
- Direct HCM/HRIT/HRIS implementation or administrative experience with systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, ADP, etc.
- Proficiency in a high-level programming language for scripting needs, such as Javascript, Typescript or Python
- Ability to query and manipulate data through SQL and one or more scripting languages (example: Python)
- Experience in fast paced startup environments and remote international settings is strongly preferred
