The Opportunity


We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the CoinDesk team. This role involves overseeing a diverse range of products and initiatives central to our mission. It involves enhancing the experience across various platforms, including data services, mobile applications, and our expansive editorial and event offerings. Your leadership will ensure these products meet the highest standards of quality and innovation and seamlessly integrate to serve our diverse audience effectively.This role reports to the Director of Product Management and is a hybrid position working onsite a few days a week from our NYC Office based near Union Square.

What You’ll Do:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy across CoinDesk's platforms, ensuring a cohesive user experience.
  • Deliver platforms that epitomize user-friendliness, allowing seamless navigation, searching, and understanding of complex cryptocurrency data.
  • Drive the evolution of our mobile applications, focusing on superior functionality and user engagement.
  • Enhance our event management systems to optimize the delivery and impact of our global events.
  • Collaborate with editorial teams to streamline content delivery across multiple formats, including articles, videos, and podcasts, enhancing accessibility and audience reach.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the platforms based on user feedback, market trends, and technological advancements.
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle, from concept through launch, ensuring that each phase meets our high standards for quality and user-centricity.
  • Ensure that our data presentation aligns with the evolving needs of our diverse user base, which includes casual investors as well as seasoned financial professionals.
  • Uphold the CoinDesk standard for accuracy, reliability, and transparency in all data-related products and services.

What You Have


  • Proven track record of at least 4+ years in product management, preferably in the financial or cryptocurrency sector.
  • Strong understanding of cryptocurrency and/or financial markets, data structures, and this space's unique challenges and opportunities.
  • A passion for the crypto, web3, blockchain, and/or AI space and are a relentless consumer of industry-related digital content.
  • Experience working with one or more of the following: crypto data and APIs, mobile app development, event management systems, or editorial teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying and translating user needs into compelling product features.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of engaging effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience in agile product development environments.

CoinDesk Inc. is committed to offering competitive compensation and benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 + discretionary annual target bonus + benefits. Offered salary may vary by geographic location, including city and state, and will be reflective of job-related knowledge, skills and commensurate experience.
