We’re excited by the success of the Pod to date and still have a long way to go toward achieving our mission.As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will design mechanical parts for our next generation of products. This role requires full time onsite work from our Shenzhen office or local suppliers.
How you’ll contribute
Design mechanical parts in 3D CAD (Solidworks) for our consumer electronics products.
Design parts using a variety of manufacturing processes, especially injection molding, machining, compression molding, and sheet metal forming.
Work with vendors to take designs from DFM to production.
Support builds at vendor sites to ensure mechanical parts meet requirements and solve any issues.
Work closely with the US design team on new product concepts and architecture
What you need to succeed
Expert in designing injection molded parts for consumer products, including large cosmetic parts from ID surfaces. Experience handling water and sealing is a plus.
Expert with 3D CAD programs, especially Solidworks and NX/UG.
Comfortable communicating in English both verbally and in writing.
Solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals and principles.
