A Day in the Life
AppLovin is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented People Operations Analyst to join our dynamic People team. We are looking for someone who has a strong knowledge of HR technology (especially Workday), all things people, data, process, and policy. You will own critical roadmaps, processes and metrics throughout the employee lifecycle, drive improvements, efficiencies and automation that enables AppLovin’s growth and scaling; and ensure our employees, managers, business leaders, and internal business stakeholders get not only the answers they need fast.
The Impact You’ll Make
- Ensure an exceptional employee experience by simplifying key processes
- Thoroughly understand the business needs and priorities, translating them into executable PeopleOps strategies that will contribute to organizational success
- Participate and contribute to proactive review and implementation of process improvements through upgrades, enhancements, testing, validation and overall performance of Workday
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of employee lifecycle activities such as new hire onboarding (including I-9 processing), payroll/benefits enrollment, employment verification letters, unemployment requests, internal mobility, and offboarding
- Provide support for ad-hoc inquiries sent from employees through our ticketing tool (Zendesk) and provide seamless support, responding to questions and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Review and maintain employee records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness and ensure retention, protection, transfer, and disposal of records
- Support regulatory compliance filings or audits as needed: Multiple Worksite Reporting, EEO-1, CA Pay Data, SOC II, etc.
- Drive data integrity by performing audits and remediating any data anomalies
- Work with global teams across varying time zones across our APAC, EMEA and Americas locations
- Promote and support AppLovin’s performance-driven culture
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of People Operations and/or HR Generalist related experience
- Strong working knowledge of Workday HCM, related modules, and report writing; Workday certification a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience implementing streamlined processes that scale
- Advanced experience with spreadsheet functions in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace suite (ex: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Have strong customer service skills and respond promptly to employees, managers, and other stakeholders
- Excellent follow-through including proven experience navigating ambiguity and being able to pivot quickly as priorities change
- Capable of supporting multiple processes and ability to remain composed with a high volume of activities
