That’s where you come in.The controller position will be key within the organization and the finance department, reporting to the Director of Finance and ensuring all aspects of day-to-day finances are running smoothly.The position presents an exciting opportunity to join a successful start-up as it accelerates its growth. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate financial statements and reports
- Assist with the implementation of financial & operational controls
- Monitoring & documenting financial controls
- Oversee the bookkeeper’s department (located in both Israel & USA)
- Assist with auditors on annual financial statements and hands-on audit related tasks
- Conduct month end closing procedures
- Prepare and analyze cash flows and periodical reports
- Prepare management reports
- Taking part in building the finance department from the ground up
- Overseeing payments to vendors and additional high level cash items
- Ad-hoc projects as needed and requested by management
REQUIREMENTS
- 1-2 years experience post internship, preferably in a high-tech environment- advantage
- CPA from a big4 accounting firm
- Experience with auditing Hi tech startup companies- strong advantage
- Chief scientist- experience with reports (strong advantage)
- Excellent English (both oral and written)
- A passionate and driven personality with meticulous attention to details
- Proficient in Excel
- High analytical skills
- Service oriented with a positive can-do approach
