Position SummaryLightEdge is an enterprise-grade public and private cloud services and colocation company focused on the needs of businesses and their critical IT requirements. If you want to take your skills to the next level by joining an industry leader, this is an excellent opportunity for you!We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to lead our strategic partnership with AWS. This individual be responsible for managing compliance with our Premier Tier partnership and Strategic Collaboration Agreement, establishing and managing growth strategy, and leading a team of regional AWS channel BDMs to develop a robust pipeline of opportunities.As the AWS Alliance Director, you will be the strategic leader responsible for managing and expanding our partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Your role is crucial in driving business growth and innovation through this key alliance. You will work closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that maximize the value of our AWS partnership. Your expertise in cloud solutions and business acumen will be essential in fostering a collaborative relationship with AWS and ensuring the successful delivery of joint initiatives.The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the AWS ecosystem, have a strong network of AWS leaders and customer contacts, have exceptional relationship-building skills, and possess strong sales acumen.

Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Partnership Management: Lead the strategic planning and execution of our AWS alliance, ensuring alignment with SCA and our overall business objectives.
  • Business Development: Lead team of Channel BDMs to identify and pursue new business opportunities in collaboration with AWS, leveraging joint and differentiated solutions to drive revenue growth and quota attainment.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at AWS, including executives, sales teams, and technical experts.
  • Program Management: Oversee the implementation of joint initiatives and programs, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, AWS advancements, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align efforts and maximize the value and impact of the AWS partnership.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success of the AWS alliance and Channel BDM team providing regular reports and insights to VP, Channel & Alliances.

Experience:


  • Proven experience in managing strategic alliances or partnerships, preferably within the cloud computing or technology industry
  • Deep understanding of AWS services and solutions.
  • Strong business development skills with a track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of developing strategies for successful pipeline development and sales achievement
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and other sales tools
  • AWS Certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, etc.) a plus 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
