*This position is on-site based in Odessa, TX. Some travel is required to multiple Atlas sites and locations.
How You Will Make an Impact
The Human Resources Generalist is an integral part of the success of Atlas Energy's operations. You will work daily with our company drivers and be responsible for the Associate Life Cycle while managing Human Resources initiatives.
- Implement and manage all Human Resources programs and initiatives at our logistics site
- Assist in the development and implementation of personnel procedures and policies
- Site resource for benefits administration, employee relations, onboarding, policy implementation, and employment law compliance
- Responsible for Associate Life Cycle, including recruitment, interview participation, onboarding, new hire orientation, counseling, corrective action, investigations, performance management, Workers Compensation and offboarding
- Provide coaching and conflict resolution to leaders on employee relations, culture, and escalating issues as necessary to minimize risk to Atlas Sand
- Serve as the primary contact for employees and management seeking answers and advice on benefits, FMLA, workers’ comp, disability, etc.
- Data management that includes: employee data, employee files, I9 documents, personal data, emergency contacts, compensation, attendance, performance data and termination information
- Participates in projects within the logistics team and within the HR Team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent combination of education, experience and training
- Minimum of 2-5 years of Human Resources experience required
- Proficient in MS Office
- Knowledge of local, state and federal law and regulations
- Ability to deliver best-in-class customer service
