You'll be equipped to make an impact, realize your potential, and stay inspired every step of the way.Reporting to the Senior Manager, Learning and Growth, the Learning and Growth Lead is responsible for researching, designing and supporting a progressive Flipp Learning and Growth program including building a roadmap of training programs for Flipp team members in the areas of Flipp’s leadership behaviours, culture, functional training, and programs as needed/ identified from our internal needs analysis.

The Learning & Growth Lead is also responsible to build and leverage systems, tools and documentation of assets for online learning and ongoing reference inside Flipp’s learning platform.

What you'll get the opportunity to do:


  • Training Design, Program Management & Facilitation
  • Project-manage and support strategy, design and roadmap creation to deliver and maintain effective learning and growth practices that contribute toward building a high-performance organization
  • Using a performance consulting approach to understand capability gaps and developing a learning strategy aligned to support business outcomes for their client groups
  • Create and facilitate end-to-end training in the areas that include but are not limited to coaching and leadership, functional training content
  • Implement curriculum design principles and standards that ensure both consistency, flexibility and sustainability of learning materials
  • Leveraging content, digital platforms and knowledge management best practices to ensure maximum training effectiveness.
  • Create and deliver training in the areas of individual contributor and culture-specific training content. Provide regular feedback and improvements on content to ensure it is optimized for maximum effectiveness across teams.
  • Work towards building a strong leadership pipeline by building leadership programs and creating leadership training
  • Surveys, Reporting and Analytics
  • Leverages our engagement survey data to drive divisional insights that uncover business needs and insights
  • Reviews annually the engagement survey for continuous improvement
  • Working collaboratively with HR Business Partners to identify opportunities from our system reporting (i.e. LMS, Engagement Survey,  PGP Process, Talent Review
  • Provides reporting on our talent systems for both tactical support (i.e. talent review data, PGP, etc), and, to drive insights for new initiatives in the business
  • Assist in the development of dashboards and analytics related to training to understand effectiveness

  • Learning Management System and all other training documentation and tools
  • Support in launching and scaling of an LMS tool
  • Builds and utilizes systems and tools including confluence to provide ongoing resources and toolkits for all team members to access. 
  • Responsible for the content library inside Flipp’s LMS software. 
  • Design learning content aligned with industry and external trends that lead to the highest participation and impact.

What you'll bring to the team:


  • 5 years of experience managing learning in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong experience with facilitation, PowerPoint and creating decks. 
  • Deep understanding of learning methodologies
  • Experience in data-informed decision-making
  • Knowledge and experience with managing large-scale program launches end to end using the ADDIE model
  • Expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design
  • Experience with instructional design tools such as Articulate 360, Camtasia, Vyond, AI software 
  • Manages ambiguity and can respond to situations with a calm and steady demeanour.
  • Ability to cultivate strong collaborative working relationships working in a matrix reporting environment.
  • Experience in performance consulting is considered an asset
  • CSTD, CTDP credentials are considered an asset
