Role summary
In this role, you will leverage your growth and performance marketing skills to enhance our user acquisition efforts for our voice-based games. Reporting to the VP of Growth, you will control cross-channel paid marketing budgets exceeding $10M annually, focusing on optimizing campaigns and testing new strategies. Ideal candidates are well-versed in consumer performance marketing, comfortable with programmatic and social platforms, and eager to innovate in the emerging field of connected home devices.This job opportunity offers a hybrid work arrangement, and we are specifically seeking candidates who are comfortable with on-site attendance in our Bay Area office 3 times per week and are either currently residing in or near the Bay Area or willing to relocate for on-site work.
Stuff you may have done before
- Managed large digital ad campaigns including planning, optimization, and analysis.
- Led ad platform relationships to execute and troubleshoot paid digital campaigns.
- Tested platforms, audiences, ad formats, and creatives to optimize performance.
- Built reports and dashboards to communicate spend, outcomes and impact.
- Managed a content pipeline with influencers, content creators, and agencies.
- Handled all aspects of ad operations, including pixels, attribution, and audience segmentation.
Must-haves
- 5-8 years in B2C growth or performance marketing; CTV, TikTok/Instagram, and/or programmatic audio experience preferred.
- Passion for entertainment/games; gaming user acquisition experience preferred.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills; experience with data insights, ad measurement & attribution, and BI tools (Amplitude, Tableau).
- Willingness to learn new processes, work with imperfect data, and test/learn solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Your first 90 days
- Get acquainted with campaign setups, meet key vendors/stakeholders, and learn our software tools.
- Take ownership of paid media campaigns, analyze performance, and optimize/test improvements.
- Plan with the VP of Growth for Q3/Q4, developing a paid media plan aligned with budgets, ROI goals, and revenue targets.
- Become a trusted colleague to product, data, finance, and other teams, providing insights on user acquisition funnels.

For Pay Transparency: The salary range that we expect to pay for this position is $135,885-$169,856 annually. This is a portion of the pay band for the role and level we seek. The final offer amount will depend on experience, education, and skills. Base pay is only one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
