At Better we seek an experienced front line Manager and Leader for our India Coordination team that has the drive and the passion for leading a production team and achieving results in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities


Responsible for managing and leading a team of 10-15 individual contributors towards team objectives and KPIs throughout production cycles.Effectively provide and coach through qualitative and quantitative feedback sessions for your direct reports.  Effectively manage a daily routine in order to ensure the team meets daily KPIsMonitor and develop daily cadence as the product continues to improve and be able to quickly adjust as needed or requiredSupport the India Coordination team through consistent feedback sessions and 1:1 developmental coaching sessionsMonitor and oversee the team's performance and be able to pivot and act quickly to address underperformance.

Work alongside your peers in both India and in the US to collaborate and ensure processes and procedures are in place to create a smooth and seamless customer experience.Have basic mortgage knowledge that includes knowledge of how qualifying income and assets are calculated as well as basic understanding of the mortgage process and flow.Complying with corporate policies and procedures, as well regulatory compliance.Work collaboratively to build knowledge and skill set by working cross functionally Stay up to date with industry regulations and investor guidelines changes.

Basic Qualifications/ Skill Sets


Experience range 3-5+ years of mortgage/financial experience preferably in mortgage operations2 years of management experienceKnowledge of USA Real estate lending criteria, compliance and federal/state regulations.University degree or equivalentStrong, organization, and time management skillsAbility to troubleshoot and solve problems independentlyAbility to maintain composure in a fast-paced environmentWorking understanding and knowledge of both purchase and refinance loanExcellent communication skills which are essential as they often need to communicate with clients and lenders and other associated partiesMultitasking and ability to perform in a fast paced environment.Apply for this job
