WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Director with strong experience in Search, Social and Display. Most client's businesses will be managed in both Japanese and English. The Director will manage a small team of Digital Analysts and Manager to oversee and execute activation deliveries from strategies, planning, to execution to well known global clients within the local remit. The candidate will be based in Tokyo and reports directly to the activation senior director and works closely with the client service team.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING ON ANY GIVEN DAY
- Lead the development and execution of digital marketing strategies for clients
- Collaborate with clients to define objectives and develop campaign briefs
- Manage client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and actively seeking opportunities for account growth
- Discuss and communicate with the clients in terms of the activation
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns
- Utilize Assembly's proprietary data solutions platform to optimize campaign performance and deliver actionable insights to clients
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation in digital marketing strategies
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?
- Minimum 8 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in a digital agency
- 3+ years of experience leading teams in setting up and managing client campaigns
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns
- Strong understanding of digital channels and platforms (Search, Social, Display)
- Excellent communication and client management skills in English and Japanese
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with data analytics and reporting
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
- Self- motivated & inquisitive
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Great analysis skills and proven critical thinking capability
- Can do attitude
- Team Player
- SQL knowledge is a big plus
- Passion for digital marketing and continuous learning
