The Opportunity:


We are looking for a Business Development Manager to collaborate closely with our Global VP of Business Development as well as our American Sales and Marketing leadership to further expand our BDR team in our Durham hub. As a Business Development Manager you will focus on hiring, onboarding and leading a team of BDR to create qualified opportunities for the sales team. As well as creating and optimizing operational processes to ensure maximum efficiency, while ensuring continuous feedback exchange with stakeholders from the Marketing and Sales Departments.

This is a hybrid role and will require you to travel to our office in Durham, NC three days a week


Your Mission:


  • Build, manage, coach and scale a team of Business Development Representatives
  • Lead the team in achieving and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
  • Monitor and drive inbound sales motion, including lead penetration and high activity standards for your team
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with BDRs to ensure effective communication, understand training and development needs, and provide insight for the improvement
  • Methodical development of prospecting and outreach strategies (cadences, copy, A/B testing,...)
  • Participate in the hiring, interviewing, and training process helping to scale a quickly growing team of BDRs
  • Work closely with the Demand Gen team to provide feedback on MQLs volume, quality, conversion rate, SLA and other campaigns related topics
  • Work closely with Sales and other members of the BDR Leadership team to improve opportunity management and qualification processes
  • Work in collaboration within Marketing teams to develop effective messaging to convert inbound interest into qualified pipeline
  • Have an outbound mindset, and support your team in driving successful prospecting campaigns 
  • Accurately forecasts weekly, monthly, quarterly attainment
  • Oversee usage of team systems including Salesforce, LinkedIn, Outreach, 6sense and Zoominfo
  • Ongoing process improvements, recommendations and implementation of systems that will make our team more efficient

What you need to succeed:


  • BDR management experience in the SaaS industry
  • Experience as an individual contributor, such as BDR or Account Executive
  • Experience building and driving effective pipeline-generation strategies
  • Consistent record of exceeding targets
  • Interest in growing as a people manager
  • Excels in a competitive team environment
  • Intuition and capacity to learn quickly 
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to assess performance both qualitatively and analytically
