The Role:
As a Manager of Organic Marketing, you’ll own and grow the organic channel for Ownwell. You’ll lead SEO strategy and end to end production of all content marketing assets to bring new customers to Ownwell through non-advertising methods. As an Organic Marketing Manager, you’ll report to our VP of Growth & Marketing and will collaborate cross-functionally with Ownwell’s Operations, Engineering, Design, and Product Teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end to end content strategy and content production to attract new customers
- Develop collaborative partnerships across the organization to identify, launch and refine SEO and content marketing strategies
- Execute detailed organic marketing campaigns, working closely with internal partners and external vendors to deliver clear revenue impact
- Ideate and bring to market new creative strategies, content, and experiments that improve performance and align with our customers and brand
- Help define KPIs and implement measurement, analytics, benchmarking, and reporting methods to measure success for organic marketing
- Develop and regularly maintain standard reporting to track goals
- Implement an experimentation framework and continuous testing on organic channels
- Review data, creative, and copy to maintain high standards of quality
Requirements:
- Growth-driven, high-energy, self-starter who gets along well with others and acts in a manner that promotes teamwork and builds credibility and trust in the marketing department.
- Proven expertise in leveraging SEO, content and organic marketing to bring in new customers at scale.
- Creative and thoughtful, focused on developing results-driven differentiated marketing campaigns
- Adept at strategy and planning, with a passion for hands-on execution. You have the opportunity to own the go-to-market in organic marketing, including end to end content production
- Able to think big picture as well as the dig into the finer details
- In-depth knowledge of marketing tools, platforms, and processes, especially as it relates to SEO and content marketing
- Exceptional communication and project management skills; capable of navigating a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
