Duties
include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist Post Harvest Manager in overseeing day to day operations in post-harvest 
  • Oversee and track weights/waste to document on the buck and trim log 
  • Tag flower and trim for compliance
  • Oversee daily trim room break down and clean up are followed and documentation is prepared and submitted as required. 
  • Open & Close Shifts- based on Cultivation Department work flow 
  • Supervising Post Harvest Associates and Leads in daily tasks and responsibilities 
  • Allocate supplies and totes to trimmers throughout the work day 
  • Statistical tracking, duties, and progress updates 
  • Track Gram per Hour statistics 
  • Trim quality and oversight of trimmer quality 
  • Trim to flower ratio monitoring 
  • Batch turnaround progress 
  • Batch tracking sheets finalized as soon as batches are completed 
  • Dry Room Environmental logs and management 
  • Bucking scheduling, supervision, and inventorying 
  • Allocation of trim totes
  • Bagging and tagging totes
  • Tote, packaging and equipment inventories 
  • Burping logs & adherence to burping/curing procedures 
  • Waste logs & compliant waste disposal 
  • Ensure only quality product meeting high standards set by the company 
  • Monitor and adjust environments in all the Post Harvest rooms
  • Maintaining standards and progress when the Post Harvest Manager is busy or out of the office
  • QC and allocate finished batches to Fulfillment
  • Other duties as assigned, or any reasonable request from any member of management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Regulations require that incumbent be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain medical marijuana work credentials – applicable marijuana licensing regulations may disqualify individuals with certain criminal convictions

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, required
  • At least two years of relevant work experience in a hydroponic vegetable production or bedding plant production facility is required; cannabis industry experience is strongly preferred

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to operate post harvest machinery properly, safely, and within manufacturer’s guidelines
  • Able to communicate clearly and accurately, in writing and verbally
  • Able to exercise independent judgment and initiate and follow through on work independently
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and perform under pressure
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, positive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain a positive team environment
  • Proven efficiency and ability to prioritize and manage time and task for self and others
  • Strong work ethic and sound judgment
