Key Output
• Quickly and efficiently diagnose machine systems and carry out repairs, services, and maintenance on Earthmoving• Equipment on customer sites or at BWE site.• Compile accurate customer machine analysis and reports including machine inspection reports (MIR’s) and Technical Analysis Reports (TA’s)• Maintain professional image when representing BWE.• Ensure safe work practice by following procedures and risk assessment.• Contamination control.• Control own admin (Labour booking, service reports, part returns, expenses etc.)• Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of own are consistently and accurately maintained.
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
• Qualified in relevant trade (e.g., Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic)• Strong Engine knowledge on CAT3512• Repair and replace engine components.• Some Computer Literacy (SIS, VIMS, weight system and ET) knowledge• Machine specific technical and product knowledge on hydraulic shovels RH340, RH400 and 6060• Basic technical report writing, Basic business and financial understanding.• Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.• Driver’s license-Code B & PDB• Understanding of supplier warranty systems, policies and procedures.
Good and experiences on Caterpillar machine and product knowledge.
