You will leverage your deep understanding of cybersecurity and your passion for social engagement to create a vibrant online community and drive awareness and education. This role will report to our VP, Corporate Communications. We're seeking a passionate Cybersecurity Community Leader who thrives on connecting with and empowering developers, application security engineers, and information security leaders.
Your enthusiasm for runtime application security will shine through as you craft engaging content and build meaningful relationships within the InfoSec and AppSec communities. Responsibilities
- Actively participate in social settings, including Slack, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Discord
- Foster conversations, answer questions and share insights to establish Contrast Security as a thought leader
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media content strategy that aligns with company goals
- Produce engaging short-form videos that educate, inform, and entertain the audience
- Manage the main LinkedIn page for Contrast Security, ensuring consistent branding and messaging, including event promotion
- Monitor social media channels for mentions and respond promptly to comments and inquiries
- Create a unique and memorable social media voice for Contrast Security that resonates with the target audience
- Ensure consistent tone and messaging across all social media platforms
- Track and analyze key metrics to measure the success of campaigns
- Report on performance to stakeholders and recommend optimizations
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in application security and social media
- Identify opportunities to leverage emerging trends to increase brand visibility
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, preferably with a background in development or application security
- Demonstrable understanding of social communities, including “dark social”
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Experience creating engaging social media content, including videos and written posts
- Familiarity with various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Slack, and others
- Experience managing social media communities and fostering engagement
- Ability to develop creative and innovative social media campaigns that capture attention
- Passion for building a strong brand identity and online community
- Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms
- Basic video editing skills or willingness to learn

What We Offer
Salary and Other CompensationThis position's standard base pay range is $120,000 - $185,000 annually. This position is also eligible for an equity package subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.
