The Role
This role offers a challenging opportunity to contribute to an innovative data product as a Data Quality Engineer on our core engineering team. You will be joining our highly productive team and thriving in a work culture that promotes individual growth, well-being, strong ethics, and an entrepreneurial approach.As a Data Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our customer-facing analytics platform. You will be part of a dedicated squad, aiming to achieve 95% automation of our core product flows by the end of the year.
Your daily responsibilities will include identifying, scoping, and resolving data quality issues, determining measures to enhance quality, setting quality standards, building test cases, and developing procedures to run or automate them in collaboration with the 'Data Quality' team across squads.Please apply only if you have the necessary experience in quality automation and data (of any size). You have
- Expertise in automation tools for web-based applications, like, Selenium, Cypress, Karate, Protractor.
- Experience in managing quality for large-scale SaaS applications, including management of manual tests through regular Sprint releases and automation.
- Expertise in testing APIs
- Experience with tools for performance testing - Gatling or JMeter
- Familiarity with or interest in testing large volumes of data and data pipelines. Including Database testing / SQL (for quality related use-cases).
- Knowledge of quality metrics / KPIs and using them in regular Scrum processes.
