Description
The Project Integrator is responsible for completing the installation and commissioning of greenfield and brownfield projects across the company. The ideal candidate will have experience in Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLCs and network equipment, Ignition SCADA systems, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), 3-phase motors, HART enabled instrumentation, and other common industrial automation equipment.
- Review prints and other technical design documents from our vendors and panel builders
- Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) on electrical and automation panels
- Configure switches, PLCs, Drives, I/O racks, and other devices on our device network
- Manage electrical contractors during installation and commissioning of projects to ensure that the field installation meets code requirements and Streamline’s quality standards
- Work with the Engineering team on improvements and modifications to the design of the equipment
- Review, design, and implement custom PLC code and HMI pages to meet customer requirements
- Configure instruments via HART communicator (TREX) to set spans, PV/SV/TV/QV settings, and alarms
- Work in the PLC to create tags, map I/O, and configure interlocks
- Configure connections using OPC UA, Ethernet IP, MODBUS, MQTT, and other common industrial communication protocols and architectures
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other related BS degree is preferred
- Hands-on electrical experience in an industrial and/or production environment is required
- Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and servicing electrical and automation equipment required
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
- Approximately 50% travel is required.
- Ability to read, interpret, and write code in common industrial automation languages including Ladder Logic (LD), Functional Block Diagram (FBD), Structured Text (ST), and Python Scripting required
- Ability to maintain composure and professional demeanor in fast-paced work environment
- High level communications and organizational skills, ability to effectively communicate with senior/executive management, engineers, technicians, and customers at all levels
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
- Focus on service quality, attention to detail and customer satisfaction
- Journeyman’s or Master’s electricians license is preferred
- Electrical trade school diploma is preferred
Work Environment - Conditions vary and include:
- Controlled Office Environment
- Field work covering Texas, New Mexico, and other remote locations
- Equipment fabrication shops and panel shops
- Customer offices will be as needed based on project requirements
- Driving to and from location is required
- Compliance with general industry and site-specific safety policies is required
- On occasions, weather conditions may include: Hot, cold, and/or inclement weather, and dusty environments.

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to perform duties in hot, cold, and/or dusty conditions.
- Must be able to drive on behalf of the company
