Playing a key role on the Cinchy team, the Director of Marketing Communications  drives the demand generation marketing strategy within the GTM team, the implementation plan and execution for success. While aligning to brand strategy, this individual will lead a small team in creating and delivering highly effective outbound marketing assets and events supporting integrated demand generation campaigns and sales activities aimed at B2B in the Data Collaboration market.Reporting to and working with the Chief Commercial Officer, this role requires the ability to see the bigger picture, can contribute to planning and reviews with the executive team, understand and proactively communicate marketing plans, status, KPIs along with the resources necessary to achieve the objectives.  An overall understanding of marketing channels, expertise in integrated demand generation programs and on-point marketing assets are the keys to success.

What you will be doing:


  • Driving force in developing marketing strategy within the GTM team 
  • Define, develop and deliver integrated demand gen marketing campaigns within North America (EMEA in the near future) 
  • Define, develop and deliver aligned marketing collateral, sales tools, digital and printed assets  
  • Manage and grow team of direct reports, contractors, design agencies 
  • Marketing Budget management
  • Proactively communicate content development schedules to cross-functional parties  
  • Represent and present Marketing team in cross-functional staff, QBRs, launch and/or committee meetings
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including IT management to help drive communications programs and web content

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years in worldwide marketing communications – in any of these areas: Account Executive; Project Manager; Marcom Manager;
  • Background in Sales preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of successful management experience 
  • Inherent business acumen/decision making to achieve business objectives  
  • Tools and platforms such as Hubspot, Marketo, Salesforce
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, ability to present to senior management levels
  • Thorough understanding of branding and marketing communications’ strategies and tactics, B2B marketing materials and tools, graphic design, printing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deliverables and deadlines simultaneously
  • Solid knowledge of project management practices and techniques, respect for process and timelines
  • Excellent sense of design, composition and aesthetics, strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative, team player
  • Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

$125,000 - $150,000 a yearCompensation: Our target base salary range is $125,000 - 150,000 CDN per year with a 15% bonus. Our compensation range is region specific and may be different depending on where you join us from. How we determine your compensation on this range is based on where you are at in your career and we try to figure that out through our hiring process.
