Edoxx Technical Services LLC is a US Company based in Houston, Texas, with access to +350 highly experienced and advanced Engineers and Technicians delivering know-how and expertise in Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation engineering.
Our client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to work on-site at their Monrovia, CA office. This person will provide electrical engineering services to our client and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the electrical engineering team. The purpose is to manage a team of electrical engineers and designers and oversee their work on oil, gas, and chemical projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage a team of electrical engineers and designers and oversee their work on oil/gas/chemical projects.
  • Plans organize, and direct engineering work, ensuring on-time completion, safety-in-design and quality outcomes from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with project management, client, other disciplines to meet project objectives.
  • May lead one or more projects while providing guidance for other lead engineers within the program.
  • Maintain relationship with project management and client to ensure satisfaction with the quality and progress of the project.
  • Deliver electrical engineering services that meet statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
  • Initiate, manage and if required supervise electrical engineering project requirements. 
  • Proactively resolve any discrepancies between our client and its Customer's requirements.
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments and technical innovations in electrical engineering.
  • If required, assist and support junior personnel within the electrical engineering team.
  • Communicate effectively with the electrical engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.
  • Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.

Qualifications:


  • A recognized and relevant BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (P. E or P. Eng) status US/Canada preferred.
  • Competent use of relevant software: ETAP, PSCAD and SPL.
  • 7 years of experience as an Electrical Enginer within the Oil & Gas/Power Industry experience.
  • Excellent technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to our client and its clients.
  • Excellent knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications.
  • Development, design of electrical distribution systems, equipment selection, protective relay selection, power management system configuration, interface management
  • Perform/review power systems studies and protective device settings.
  • Extensive technical and practical experience in electrical engineering in the same or similar industry, including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
