Brella is seeking a highly organized and customer focused events coordinator to oversee the programming, logistics, and execution of events for a new center opening. This role is perfect for someone looking for a short-term/part-time opportunity who is sales-minded, loves talking to people, and is detail oriented.This role is based in West LA and will last for the duration of July 2024 through 2025 with opportunities for ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee promotional events to drive awareness and registration for the opening of our 4th location opening
  • Identify and present brand and audience appropriate opportunities to leadership where Brella can reach target audience and have a meaningful presence including community events, parent groups, local partner activations, info sessions
  • Develop and manage timelines, coordinate logistics, and ensure seamless execution of events
  • Coordinate with Brella corporate team on calendar of events, programming, resource needs and budget, as well as recap of the event afterward (attendance, sign ups, photos, etc)
  • Be extremely comfortable talking about Brella and answering questions (will require training period) and provide excellent and friendly customer experiences
  • Work with marketing to drive awareness and attendance, and to follow up with attendees
  • Community engagement: posting on group boards (Facebook groups), Eventbrite, Other event listings
  • Ensure staff is adequately trained and prepared for events

Experience, Knowledge, and Abilities:


  • Extremely organized with ability to plan ahead, manage multiple moving pieces, and manage event projects simultaneously and independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and speaking confidently with new people
  • Resourcefulness with willingness to adapt quickly to change and solve problems
  • Experience in sales or promotional roles with a track record of driving engagement and awareness
  • Strong communication skills- able to operate independently while also coordinating with other team members as needed
  • Flexible availability with ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Reliable- we are a small team that requires someone who can commit for a longer-term contract period and can be counted on
  • Must enjoy working with children
  • Event planning and execution: community management, cross-functional collaboration with marketing team, vendors, etc.
