Position Summary:
The Analytics and BI Developer/Analyst will be responsible for developing both internal and external dashboards and reports using our Qlik Sense platform. They will also support the team in the analysis of our product data and associated key measures. This position will work with multiple verticals across EvidenceCare to understand and shape data requirements and strategy. They will leverage this information to perform data loads, analysis, visualization, and storytelling. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Qlik Sense and is comfortable working through analytics problems of varying magnitudes.
They should thrive in a challenging environment and enjoy participating in and/or owning the entire lifecycle of dashboard creation, from conception to design to finished product. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop both internal and external (client-facing) dashboards, and modify existing dashboards, using Qlik Sense
- Support the analysis of product data and results, particularly those areas which require deeper analytics
- Work closely with internal team members to understand and document data requirements
- Gather business requirements, analyze source systems, define underlying data sources and transformation requirements, design data models, and develop metadata for data analysis and visualization
- Create/modify load scripts using the Data Load Editor
- Add/Remove/Maintain data connections within Qlik Sense
- Lead the design process for dashboards and visualizations
- Configure/maintain dashboard visualizations including expressions, charts, and custom objects
- Work with the team in resolving any issues that arise with dashboards, tasks, user access
- Acquire and analyze data and metrics across the organization to learn how they can be incorporated into data visualizations and dashboards
- Serve as a functional and technical data visualization and business intelligence subject matter expert
Minimum
requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years of direct experience with Qlik Sense (strong comfort level with data loads, visualizations, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Ideal candidates will have a degree in either business management, information systems, engineering, computer science, mathematics, accounting, economics or other related discipline
- Proven track record of successfully analyzing and reporting on complex data models
- Experience working with various databases
- Basic knowledge and comfort level working with SQL
- Ability to quickly attain and understand new processes with strict attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines, work on multiple tasks and work well under pressure
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information to internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of healthcare technology and/or healthcare operations is a plus
- Knowledge of healthcare data is a plus
Experienced with:
- Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Qlik Management Console (QMC) experience is not required, but a plus
- Snowflake experience is a plus
