The primary responsibility of this role is to provide efficient and effective first-line technical support to our internal users. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of IT systems, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
NOTE - This is a hybrid position with the requirement of being in the Chicago office 3-4 days per week
HOW WE’LL BE WINNING TOGETHER DAY TO DAY
- Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues for end-users.
- Escalate complex technical problems to the Tier 2 support team when necessary.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Assist with user onboarding and offboarding procedures, including setting up user accounts and permissions.
- Provide guidance and training to users on basic IT procedures and best practices.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and system backups.
- Document support activities, solutions, and common issues in the knowledge base.
WE SHOULD TALK IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU
- 4+ years experience in providing technical support to end-users.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and common productivity applications.
- Basic understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) would be a plus.
