Job Requirements:
We are looking for a seasoned Electric and/or Mechanical Engineer for the R&D and/or Support department for the role of Hardware Systems Integration and Support Specialist.
Ayyeka’s products interface with the customer sites via various environmental sensors that need to be integrated into the Ayyeka ecosystem and infrastructure. The electronic IoT sensors that integrate with Ayyeka products include wiring, setup and configuration. The Hardware Systems position is also tightly related to customer support. A candidate will also serve as Support Specialist, providing assistance and resolving issues for Ayyeka’s external and internal customers. The right candidate will have: a strong technical background, problem-solving and communication skills, a ‘can do’ attitude and a deep understanding of IoT products or services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Hardware integration: Identify peripheral and sensors for customer requirements, wiring and configure to integrate to our product. 2. Documentation: Cr ate and update support documentation, including FAQs and troubleshooting guides, to assist both customers and internal staff. 3. Customer Assistance: Respond to customer inquiries, troubleshoot problems, and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner. 4. Product Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our products and/or services to address customer questions and issues effectively.
5. Problem Solving: Identify, prioritize, and resolve customer issues, escalating complex problems to the appropriate department when necessary. 6. Testing: Ensure product quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Qualifications:
1. Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with proven experience working with clients - A must.
2. Experience with lab equipment: scope, power supply etc. - A must 3. Knowledge in electronics and communication protocols (e.g RS232, RS485) - An advantage. 4. Hands-on experience in hardware integration / connection - A must. 5. Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset - please provide references. 6. Experience in System Level Testing (QA/QC). 7. Ability to work independently. 8. Team player

The location of the office is in Jerusalem.
