Are you a mid-level to senior IT Project Manager seeking a new and exciting challenge on an established contractor team supporting the USAF? Look no further! Diligent Consulting has an immediate opening for an experienced Project Manager to lead teams to design, develop, sustain, and enhance information technology capabilities, applications, and tools under the 72 ABW/SC.
As the Diligent Consulting Project Manager, you will work closely with Indigenous Technologies and Air Force customers by leading technical teams in an Agile Framework environment. You will direct teams of eight or more IT professionals managing customer IT requirements from receipt through acquisition, development, installation, and/or implementation. Teams currently work a weekly hybrid schedule (remote & on-site) during regular, daytime office hours. In addition to your regular duties supporting the contract, you may be tasked with providing day-to-day oversight of Diligent employees and representing Diligent Corporate HQ as our local team Lead (TBD).
Minimum Position Requirements
• US Citizenship • Secret Clearance• Possess a minimum of 4 years' experience working as a project manager, preferably in an Agile environment, leading software development teams• Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience• Have experience directing analysis and design as well as maintaining documentation across all phases of a software development life cycle• Demonstrate superior leadership and communication skills in a DoD environment with a variety of persons in a variety of situations• Possess critical thinking and analytical thinking traits• Demonstrate the ability to elicit requirements using a variety of techniques including SME interviews, document analysis, system analysis, etc• Possess intermediate to advanced experience in Microsoft Office, especially MS Word and MS Excel• Knowledge of and experience with using Team Foundation Server and SharePoint is a plus
