About the VALD Finance Team


The Finance team is a small, hardworking group of team-focused individuals who each play a vital role in providing business intelligence to management for strategic decisions to be made. The Finance team is responsible for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll for all team members and financial reporting for global offices.

In this role, you will:


  • Perform daily data entry of supplier invoices across multiple currencies and entities.
  • Generate bills from purchase orders.
  • Prepare comprehensive weekly payment reports for the weekly Accounts Payable meeting.
  • Process weekly batch payments and manual payments for domestic and international suppliers.
  • Take ownership of credit card and bank reconciliations across different banking institutions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Review and process expense reimbursements for employees.
  • Prepare intercompany journals and reconcile intercompany transactions across entities.
  • Daily bank transfers between accounts within the Group.
  • Reconcile supplier balances with statements, resolving discrepancies promptly and accurately.
  • Assist in BAS return preparation.
  • Any other ad hoc finance tasks as assigned.

Is this you?


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of accounts payable experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently along with the following attributes:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in dealing with more than one currency and multiple entities.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with NetSuite or any other ERP.
