Who You Are:
Nutrabolt is looking for a Tax Manager with strong problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity. Reporting to Director, Global Tax, the Tax Manager is primarily responsible for managing outsourced tax compliance (income and indirect). This person will also implement process improvements, work on international tax issues, and manage various tax projects.
This role is eligible to participate in our Management Bonus Plan.
What You're Good At:
- Managing global outsourced tax compliance (income and indirect tax)
- Preparing tax provision and supporting documents for returns
- Calculating transfer pricing and updating annual transfer pricing studies
- Supporting income and indirect tax audits
- Implementing tax strategies and processing improvements
- Resolving tax notices, maintaining tax calendars, and managing tax certificates
- Preparing or reviewing tax account reconciliations, creating related journal entries, and providing variance analysis
- Creating and maintaining tax process documentation, policies, and procedures
- Evaluating tax risks and establishing controls in compliance with SOX 404
- Fostering cross-functional and cross-departmental relationships
- Other as assigned
What You Contribute:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 6+ years of corporate tax experience with mix of industry and public accounting.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven analytical skills coupled with intellectual curiosity.
- Advanced Excel.
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A plus:
- CPA preferred.
- Experience supervising staff.
- ERP experience, Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
- ASC 740 and SOX 404 knowledge
- US GAAP and tax regulations experience
