About the Role:
Join our team as a Project Coordinator (Development and Construction), where you will support the Sr. Manager of Development & Construction to achieve the department’s growth goals and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of work and the growth of our business. In this position, you will be instrumental in driving projects from sourcing to opening. Your responsibilities include managing and coordinating critical project data, coordinating with external consultants and landlords, and preparing internal deal presentations.
You will collaborate closely with Design Managers and cross-functional teams in Real Estate, Legal, Pre-Construction, Construction, and Operations to support the company’s ambitious growth and development plans for new locations.This role is remote with a preference for being located in New York or Chicago.
Responsibilities
- Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
- Direct initial project correspondences by preparing and requesting project site visits, proposals, and emails
- Communicate with consultants to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
- Support Real Estate, Design, and Construction in preparation for Investment Committee by compiling and distributing core content
- Identify project roadblocks and make recommendations surrounding their resolution or improvement. As needed, recommend new workflows or processes that will increase team efficiency
- Coordinate project creation, critical data setup including legal entities, cost-tracking, and invoicing in our internal software platforms (project setup and closeout only)
- Ensuring the Development Manager, Program Manager, Design Manager, and Project Manager are assigned w/clear deliverable dates
- Supporting the setup and occasional maintenance of project budgets
- Support of project Tenant Improvement collection and financial closeout
- Oversight and support of post-launch activities
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure project success
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Construction or Design Administration OR Business Administration with experience in Commercial Development
- Proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets, experience Tableau and Airtable is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and capable of balancing multiple priorities
- Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports
- Ability to effectively build relationships and trust with internal and external stakeholders
- Preferred experience in a fast-paced or startup environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings a plus
- Commitment to modeling Industrious values of integrity, teamwork, and ownership day to day
- Ability to occasionally travel within and outside the US
Compensation:
The annual base compensation range for this role is between $80,000 and $85,000. The successful candidate's actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications.You will also be eligible for an annual bonus calculated based on individual and company performance.Base and bonus compensation are just two components of Industrious’ total compensation package that may be available to employees.
