Job Summary:
The carpenter is responsible for maintaining wooden structures and fixtures within the restaurant.This role will also do the basic painting and carpentry works.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Maintenance and Repairs:• Inspect, identify, and repair or replace damaged or worn-out wooden components.• Repair wooden structures and fixtures, including furniture, cabinetry and counters.• Replace Gypsum board and do the painting• Repair or replace the glass door machines
2.Collaboration:
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel, maintenance supervisor, maintenance coordinator and contractors to coordinate with overall maintenance activities.• Communicate effectively regarding the status of carpentry works.
3.Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of all carpentry work, including project details, materials used and timelines.• Prepare reports summarizing work status and completion.
4.Emergency Response:
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize the downtime and disruptions to restaurant operations• Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours emergencies.
5.Safety Compliance:
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations in all carpenter activities.• Implement proper safety measures, including the use of personal protective Equipment (PPE).
6. Equipment Maintenance:
• Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of carpentry tools and equipment.• Arrange for repairs or replacements when necessary
