CTI is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Joint Exercise Planner to join our team. As a Joint Exercise Planner, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating large-scale joint exercises for U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM). You will work closely with military and civilian personnel, as well as representatives from partner nations, to develop exercise objectives, scenarios, and training objectives.In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various elements of our comprehensive exercise program, focusing on testing and evaluation aspects.
This position requires a strong background in exercise planning (scheduling, logistics, and prioritization), experience in test and evaluation processes is highly desirable.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement exercise plans, ensuring alignment with USINDOPACOM objectives and priorities.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including USINDOPACOM directorates, Service component commands, government agencies, and private sector partners, to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage the test and evaluation components of exercises, ensuring data collection and analysis meet DoD standards and requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate exercise outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending adjustments to future exercises.
- Provide guidance and support to exercise participants, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on exercise outcomes, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on DoD policies, procedures, and regulations related to exercise planning and execution as well as the unique exercise requirements associated with assessment events.
This position requires the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Requirements
Necessary Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business management or related field. Or a minimum 7 years of experience in Department of Defense (DoD) exercise planning in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
- At least 5 years of experience in exercise planning, coordination, or management, with a strong focus on test and evaluation processes.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
- Must have an active U.S. government Top Secret security clearance and be SCI eligible. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
