The Assembly Associate is responsible for labeling belly bands and boxes, assembling parts and components for feeders, checking components for quality defects, and accurately complete work orders. A successful Assembly Associate is hard-working, organized and detail-oriented. You should be able to watch for quality defects and understand the process of assembling feeders from start to finish. You should be able to read a Bill of Material to assure you received the right parts for the project.
Specific Responsibilities
:
- Verify you received the correct materials for production using BOM
- Organize and maintain stock/inventory levels accurate
- Ensures that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
- Organizes and maintains workstation appearance by organizing and cleaning up during and end of shift
- Inspects products for defects and damages during production and at any other time(s)
- Acts as the point of quality to ensure products are up to quality standards
- Documents all necessary data and assists in the training of new employees
- Carefully and safely utilize the assembly tools to get the job done
- All other duties as assign by the supervisor or managers

- Ability to use hand drills

- Ability to work within deadline(s) under pressure and handle interruptions.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, reach overhead, and lift up to 30 lbs.
