Job Summary:
Technical Application Specialists are the interface between Grenova’s laboratory equipment and lab scientists. They travel the world working with innovative, green technology in labs, providing customer support, training customers, and providing workflow and application solutions. This person will work in the field to provide excellent quality applications support pre- and post-sale for customers in a designated territory. This individual will be working within a multi-disciplinary, cross-organizational team.
This position is responsible for supporting existing accounts as well as cultivating new opportunities, working in parallel with the sales team.
Work Location:
We are looking for someone that is open to travel 60-70% of the time with a home-based office in one of the following locations:
- Denver, Colorado
- Los Angeles, California
- San Francisco, California
- Las Vegas, Nevada
- Seattle, Washington
Requirements:
- Experience working in a lab environment, understanding of lab testing, applications, and assays
- Knowledge and experience working in the life sciences, clinical, pharmaceutical, or process automation industries
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 3-10 years’ work experience within the life science industry
- Available for an average of 60%-70% travel
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Current passport and be available for international travel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of lab automation.
- Highly customer-oriented mindset.
- Collaborative Work with Customer-Facing Sales Teams
- Experience working with mechanical parts and assemblies.
