AnaVation is seeking a strategic hire, starting in the SeniorExercise Plannerrole to lead the team for Exercise Planning and Customer Engagement for our mission critical customer in Reston, VA. In the initial role at AnaVation, you will lead team plans, preparation, and documentation including Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), testing, and will lead coordination of related activities with appropriate stakeholders. You will be the customer-facing lead manage planning and coordination of IC-wide exercises for the IC CND community, as well as providing support to exercise development efforts. You and your team will maintain an exercise knowledge base with emphasis on maintenance of continuity across exercise planning and execution.
Provides the support for IC Community event exercises (i.e., ICESTORM). Supports annual cybersecurity and training events focusing on community coordination of cyber events, including CI interaction. Maintains knowledge and understanding of IC IE architectures, systems, and networks.
Minimum Qualifications
- Clearance: SCI Eligible, willing to obtain polygraph
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Certifications: Currently hold, or be able to attain certification in the following:
- DoD 8570 IAT II certifications (CompTIA CySA+ preferred or equivalent such as Security+ and Cloud+) within 30 days of contract start.
- Location: Full time on-site in Reston, VA.
- Experience:
- 12 Years of experience (10 years of experience with Master’s degree).
- Experience leading teams and directing work to align with customer priorities.
- Experience coordinating complex activities across Government stakeholders in diverse organizations.
- Understanding of DoD or Intelligence Community organizations, security requirements, policies and requirements.
- Working collaboratively across cross-functional teams of all experience levels.
- Documenting plans of action and milestones for corrective action following assessment activities.
- Writing and reviewing formal customer deliverables and after action reviews.
- Providing action reports, findings, and course of actions of remediation where applicable.
- Experience conducting benchmarking, activity modeling, and surveys.
- Experience quantifying performance data and measurements.
- Experience with executive briefing materials and briefings to Senior Government Leadership.

- Experience with briefing and delivering training to senior military and civilian leaders.
- Experience incorporating real-world scenarios and emerging threats into training and exercise events.
