Clinical Care Coordinator (Assessment BCBA)

About the role
AnswersNow is looking for a Clinical Care Coordinator who will be the first clinical point of contact for all families and is responsible for fostering a therapeutic relationship with these families throughout their clinical care journey with AnswersNow. You will be responsible for completing an in person direct observation for VA Medicaid families seeking ABA services with AnswersNow. In person observations should take place in the client’s home and include a parent interview. The Clinical Care Coordinator will then complete the rest of the ABA initial assessment.
This role includes regional travel possibly including overnight stays.
What you'll do
- Conduct all initial assessments
- Conduct in-person observations in the client’s natural environment to include general observation, FBAs, direct assessments, and caregiver interviews
- Write high-quality initial treatment plans and review these plans with the clients’ families and ongoing Clinical Care Provider to ensure alignment
- Complete initial treatment plan and submit to insurance within 7 calendar days of first assessment appointment with family
- Effectively transition clients to ongoing Clinical Care Provider
- Complete all clinical documentation according to AnswersNow policies and professional standards (i.e., timeliness, completeness, etc.)
- Communicate directly with families to schedule in-person initial assessments and required virtual follow up
- Attend company and team meetings as scheduled (i.e., monthly All Hands, monthly Care Delivery Team meeting, weekly 1:1 with direct supervisor)
- Conduct virtual initial assessments as assigned by Clinical Leadership
- Contribute to AnswersNow training content and program as needed
- Provide feedback on processes and policies to help iterate and improve Clinical Operations
- Provide 120 billable hours per month
About you
- Fierce commitment to facilitating access to care and continuity of care for all families who want to receive ABA services
- Willingness to be flexible and accountable in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for supporting other BCBAs in providing client- and family-centered care
- Willingness to mentor and collaborate with clinicians with varying levels of experience
- Desire to innovate and challenge the status quo within the ABA therapy industry
- Ability to develop effective, positive interpersonal relationships
- Ability to quickly establish and maintain rapport with families
Requirements
- Master’s degree with a focus in Behavior Analysis or similar
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required)
- At least 5 years-experience (post-certification) in applied settings providing both case management and staff supervision
- Experience providing ABA therapy and caregiver training as well as conducting assessments via telehealth (preferred)
- Valid drivers license
- Reliable personal vehicle for transportation
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of behavior analysis
- Proficient and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong clinical, administrative, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Proficiency with Google Suite (e.g., Docs, Sheets, Drive, Forms, Slides) required; CentralReach (LEARN module) proficiency preferred
