Description


Are you a skilled and detail-oriented carpenter or cabinet maker looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience building attractive displays or museum-quality props? Are you ready to work with creative teammates in a clean and well-appointed studio environment?  As a Bench Carpenter with Aardvark Studios…You will work closely with Design Engineers, Project Management, and Design teams to create top-quality assets that will be used in experiential marketing, exhibitions, or installations for our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:


What makes you the ideal candidate:


  • 5+ years of experience working at a company (not freelance) in cabinet-making and/or building exhibits and displays
  • Solid surface and post-laminating experience are preferred
  • Knowledge of carpentry hand tools and machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret complex shop drawings.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, action-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work overtime on Fridays and weekends as needed.
  • Experience working with a wide variety of materials.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • A strong moral compass and willingness to do what it takes to exceed client expectations
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work productively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for building

What else is helpful:


  • Familiarity with modern fabrication tools and equipment is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials safely.
