Background:
Kent, Campa and Kate Incorporated (KCK) is a federal contracting company that provides professional services to Government Agencies. We are currently seeking versatile and detail-oriented candidates to join our corporate team in a full-time Administrative Coordinator position aiding and advancing our HR and Program Management efforts supporting the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) in Arlington, VA.Position Summary:The Administrative Coordinator will work closely with both the HR Manager and the Program Manager, providing comprehensive administrative support for current and prospective employees, as well as coordinating key initiatives to promote employee engagement and professional growth.

This role is pivotal in driving employee engagement and providing support to our team, ensuring that our employees are motivated, well-supported, and aligned with our organizational goals.The ideal candidate will be passionate, highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Employee Management/Relations:

  • Actively seeks out and facilitates growth opportunities for employees.
  • Develops and leads employee engagement/recognition initiatives.
  • Conducts employee coaching efforts and is an active participant in performance improvement processes.
  • Tracks employee leave and reviews / approves timesheets, working with employees and corporate team to resolve any time discrepancies in timekeeping records.
  • Assists in recruitment process efforts and coordination.
  • Assists in onboarding and offboarding process efforts coordination.
  • Maintains current, accurate records tracking candidates through recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes for reporting purposes.
  • Drafts and submits newsletters and regular communications / updates.
  • Responds to employee inquiries, redirecting requests to the appropriate departments or personnel as needed.

Administrative / Support Functions:

  • Providing general support to the Program Manager, subcontractor program management and corporate HR teams.
  • Reviewing, prioritizing, and responding to emails, phone calls and other communications from internal and external parties.
  • Preparing, and editing documents, reports, correspondence, and presentations.
  • Organizing and maintaining records and files.
  • Supporting special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma Required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an administrative or coordinator role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Located in geographical area for hybrid schedule.
