Requirements


Next Phase Solutions and Services, Inc. offers a comprehensive internship program to provide junior-level college students (or those moving to their junior year) with valuable hands-on experience in operations, Human Resources, and Finance/Contracts. This internship opportunity is open to all qualified candidates who meet the following criteria:


  • Must be actively pursuing a 4-year degree and enrolled in a 4-year college program at an accredited university
  • Be in your junior year of study or moving to your junior year
  • Must be pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field
  • Able provide on-site support on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1 hour lunch break)
  • This position is suited for candidates within commuting distance to Columbia, MD, and not eligible for a remote schedule
  • The ideal candidate will have a 3.0 and above GPA
  • U.S. Citizenship or a Green Card holder - required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong speaking skills, including the ability to articulate thoughts clearly and excellent word enunciation skills, are required
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Work Suite

Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods of being stationary at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to navigate in an office setting unassisted
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
